How many people can swim in the pool with my dog?

We recommend no more than 2 adults per dog.  If you would like to bring more people with you, we do have a viewing platform at the side of the pool for you to stand.

Can Children go in the pool?

Unfortunately, due to insurance purposes we are unable to allow anyone under the age of 16 years in the pool.

What do I need to bring with me?

For your dog we supply; shampoo, life jackets and toys, however, you are welcome to bring any of your own if you prefer. All you need to bring for your dog is a towel.  If you are going in the pool you will need to bring your own towel and a change of clothes. We advise wearing a t-shirt and leggings over your swimwear as your dog may scratch you whilst swimming.

What is the difference between a 'self swim' and an 'assisted swim'?

Assisted swim – we have a member of staff available to go in the pool with you and your dog. Or if you didn’t want to go in the pool then Julie (our staff member) would swim with your dog, whilst you observe from the side. Julie would also help to fit your dog with a life jacket and shower them down afterwards. If you are a little unsure it is best to book an assisted swim as you would have the reassurance that someone would be available to help you in the pool if needed. These sessions operate on Wednesday’s, Thursday’s, Saturday’s and Sunday’s

Self-Swim – You would swim with your dog without the assistance of a staff member, on Monday’s Tuesday’s and Friday’s we don’t have a member of staff on site who would be able to help you in the pool or shower your dog. However, we do have someone available to explain the procedures to you before your swim and offer any advice. These sessions operate on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Friday’s. You are able to have a self-swim on an assisted swim day too.
